Review ~ Zoobies Blanket Pet

I was recently introduced to Zoobies Blanket Pets.  Blanket Pets are a soft toy, pillow and comfy blanket all in one.  As a parent I have to make some tough decisions and I had one of those hard decisions to make when choosing just which Zoobies Blanket Pet I wanted to review.  You see there are about 36 different animals to choose from and they are all so cute!  Of course I had to consider that I have a son and daughter who were going to share this new toy, so although adorable, the pink pigs and unicorns were out of the question.  When you can only choose one animal to please both a boy and girl, a safe choice is a bear, so that is why I chose Bubba the Black Bear. 

Judging from both of my kids' excitement when I opened the package I think I chose well.  (On a side note my kids have been doing remarkably well sharing Bubba.  The first few nights they were taking turns on who would get to sleep with the bear and now I can him in either room at any given time.) 

The Blanket Pet starts out as a toy animal pet.  Undo some velcro underneath the belly and then you have an animal pillow that lays flat.  The Black Bear has soft fur and even softer paws.  I think when used as a pillow the body is quite firm and not very cushiony, but the head is very soft and squishy.  My kids favorite part is the blanket inside.  The love how soft the fleece is and that it is big enough to completely cover them up. 

I like that the blanket easily zips off and I can throw it in the washing machine to clean it.  I also like that this is a toy that serves a dual purpose which makes it great for traveling.  I think Zoobies Blanket pets are a great item to take to overnight camps.  They aren't just a stuffed animal from home, but a blanket to which can be comforting.
