Every Family Rocks! Des Moines ~ Enter to Win a 4 Pack of Tickets

Employee & Family Resources, Every Family Rocks! Des Moines Family Music Festival, will be rockin’ May 27, from noon to 5 p.m. at 7 Flags Event Center, 2100 NW 100^th Street, in Clive, Iowa. This year’s Festival features Grammy-nominated Justin Roberts & the Not Ready for Naptime Players, whose bright songs have caused kiddie mosh pits to break out at concert performances across the nation. Other critically acclaimed, family-friendly performances will include Des Moines-area rockers The Nadas and the inventive The Verve Pipe.

In addition to great music, there will be loads of hands-on activities, crafts, games, food and music:

·         Balloon creations by Jonathan May, The Magic Man

·         Reptile exhibit and demonstrations by Iowa Reptile Rescue

·         Cookie decorating

·         Tons of crafts, including spider puppets by Very Special Arts (VSA) artists

·         Activities from the Science Center of Iowa

·         Central Iowa Jam Band

·         Appearance by Bankers Trust’s mascot for kids, Junior Saver

·         Face painting, sparkle hoop dance, much more!

The band line-up begins at 1 pm with The Verve Pipe, followed at 2:30 pm by The Nadas, and Justin Roberts & the Not Ready for Naptime Players at 4:00 pm.

My family attended this event last year for the first time and had a lot of fun there.  I'm anxious to hear children's music from the Verve Pipe and my kids always have a great time at The Nadas concerts.  It's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon for the benefit of Employee & Family Resources.
