I'm Going to Give You a Bear Hug! Children's Book Review & Giveaway #BearHugs #FlyBy

Disclosure:  This book was provided free of charge for the purpose of this review.

One of my favorite things to do is read books with my kiddos.  My littlest guy and I read together every night at bedtime and I love being able to share new books with him.  I'm happy to get to share this new book with all of you too because it's a really cute one.  I'm Going to Give You a Bear Hug! is a sweet bedtime story that describes many different types of hugs that can take place between a parent and child.

The book includes all types of animals in the story and illustrations to demonstrate the hugs.  You get to see a horse hug, duck hug, whale hug, sheep hug, my son's favorite pig hug and many more hugs.  The story uses rhyming words and a soothing rhythm to make this the perfect night time read.

I love the illustrations in the book.  They are colorful and engaging.  There are great little details that go with the story on each page.  I like how the side-by-side pages are connected by the colors and patterns.  It's fun to look at and little ones will love seeing all the different types of animals and actions.

The book published by Zondervan was released at the end of December.  You can learn more about I'm Going to Give You a Bear Hug! by visiting Zondervan. You can also connect with Zonderkidz via Facebook and Twitter.  It is available now at major retailers and on Amazon in both hardcover copy and board book.

About the Book:  I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug!, written by bestselling author Caroline B. Cooney, is a playful and comforting bedtime book that imagines all the wonderful ways a child might give and receive a hug.

Cooney’s sweet and simple rhymes encourage playful interaction between parent and child and ultimately help them wind down before they snuggle into bed and drift off to sleep. I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug is a sweet loving bedtime story book that is also sure to become a Valentine’s Day favorite for little ones who enjoy celebrating a day full of hugs and kisses from loved ones.
