Where Jesus Slept Book Review and Giveaway #WhereJesusSlept #FlyBy

Disclosure:  This book was provided free of charge for the purpose of this review.

My little guy and I read together every night before bed.  Now that he's getting older I've been starting to rotate in special books about the seasons and upcoming holidays.  Although I just brought out my Thanksgiving books it won't be long at all before the Christmas decorations come out and along with them a special collection of Christmas books that we have.  I was recently introduced to a perfect addition to our Christmas book collection.  The book is called Where Jesus Slept.

Written for ages 4-7 Where Jesus Slept is a tale that describes the Nativity. With every turn of the page your child is introduced to the animals, places, people and things that were around baby Jesus on Christmas.  The story is told in a way that builds upon each previous page with repetition so your child will be able to tell you the next line of the story.

The book includes lovely colorful illustrations that allow your child to fully visualize the scene of that very first Christmas.

About the book:  “This is the bed where Jesus slept. This is the straw that lined the bed where Jesus slept.” From here, the story builds with each spread, adding a new element and explaining the relationships among the participants and witnesses to the first Christmas. From Jesus sleeping sweetly to the wise men bringing gifts, this charming book reminds readers young and not-so-young of the joyous event we celebrate at Christmastime. Children will love the delightful illustrations and the engaging repetition in this cumulative tale.

Where Jesus Slept in hardcover edition makes a wonderful addition to your Christmas story collection and would make a nice gift. I am happy to have it as part of our Christmas collection and know that we will be reading it for many seasons to come. Published by Worthy Kids/Ideals it is available on Amazon now.
