Ready for Spring with #OshKoshKids #BreakForSpring

March used to be just another month in the year to me without much of anything to get excited about.  Now that I have kids I see the month of March as full of fun and it just keeps getting better every year.  There are so many good times to be had this month and my family is ready for it!  Here are just some of the things we're looking forward to this month:

 

• Baby Boy's 2nd Birthday ~ My youngest is turning two this month!  It's amazing how time flies and suddenly my baby is no longer a baby and is a little man now.  He is growing and learning so much so fast and we are loving every minute of it.  We look forward to celebrating him this month as a family.
• Spring Break ~ My oldest two kiddos are super excited for spring break coming up.  They don't even have a trip planned, but they're looking forward to some special outings, family time and of course no school!
• St. Patrick's Day ~ Attending our city's annual St. Patrick's Day parade became a tradition after we had kiddos and now we try to make it downtown for it even on some crazy spring weather days.
• March Madness ~ As my oldest boy has gotten older our interest in basketball has increased as well.  We should have three state schools in the NCAA tournament this month and we can't wait to cheer them on especially our favorite Cyclones!
• First Day of Spring ~ It already feels like Spring here in Central Iowa. Today we saw temps get to almost 70.  It felt great to get outside, take walks and play at the park.  We're really looking forward to the warmer weather sticking around and the official arrival of Spring.

• Easter ~ We have several Easter traditions as family that we look forward to every year.  There will be Easter egg hunts and church to attend as well as getting together with extended family.  This year Grandma's birthday lands on Easter as well so that will make the day extra fun and there may just be a special Easter cake.
