Glimmer Girls Books 1& 2 Review and Giveaway #GlimmerGirls #FlyBy

Disclosure:  This book was provided free of charge for the purpose of this review.

Glimmer Girls is a new series by top-selling recording artist Natalie Grant.  The books are juvenile fiction best for girls aged 9-12.  The series introduces readers to twins Mia and Maddie, and their little sister, Lulu, as they travel the country finding adventure, mystery, and mischief along the way.  Together with their father, famous mother, singer Gloria Glimmer, and their slightly wacky nanny, Miss Julia, the smart and sassy sisters learn lessons about being good friends, telling the truth, and a whole lot more.

There are three books in the series now and I received the first two just this past week.  I'm excited to hold onto these for my daughter until she's ready to read them or perhaps we'll end up reading together.  I love books with a little mystery and adventure and this is just the sort of chapter book I would have loved reading when I was young.  The covers are really cute and there are a few illustrations within the book which may help your tween get excited about reading the books.  I love that they take place in different cities.  It's always fun to travel to a different place while reading.  The girl characters in the book are also smart, a little sassy and each unique in their own way.
