Bankers Trusts presents, Every Family Rocks! Des Moines Family Music Festival, will be rockin’ February 22nd, from 10 am to 5 pm at the Science Center of Iowa. This year’s festival features performances by Drum Safari, Central Iowa Music Lab along with Grammy-nominated Justin Roberts & the Not Ready for Naptime Players. Plus the day is packed full of children’s activities, games and science experiments.
In addition to great music, there will be loads of hands-on activities, crafts, games, food and more including:
- Balloon creations
- Tons of crafts and hands-on activities
- Science Center mobile science demonstrations and activities
- Face painting and face decorating
- Sparkle hoop dance
- Bob the Juggler
- The Tooth Fairy
- Superheroes

This will be my family's fourth year attending Every Family Rocks! and it's one we look forward to. The kids love making crafts and dancing to the music. Last year they had fun joining in with Drum Safari. In past years they have rocked out playing instruments with the Central Iowa Music Lab. I'm excited to once again have the Science Center of Iowa as the venue this year. It's a great way to spend a winter Saturday for the benefit of Employee & Family Resources.
