Fairy Tales Hair Care Review & Giveaway

Product was received in exchange for this post.

Five weeks into this school year the I received an email from the school no parent wants to receive.  Several cases of head lice had been reported in my son's grade level.  We just recently received another notice that it is once again an issue in the first grade rooms.  This is a scary thing for a parent because as much as we tell my son not to share coats and hats he is still very much a boy who hangs out with other boys.  And of course boys like to throw things like coats and hats on top of each other.  He also shares a locker so his coat and hat are right beside another child's.  Thankfully we have not had to deal with lice elimination yet in my family, but these notices from the school were a wake up call that we really need to be concerned about lice prevention. It was wonderful timing to be contacted by Fairy Tales Hair Care this Fall because lice prevention is on my mind and they have products that can help.

Fairy Tales Hair Care has created a line of hair products for children that were made to naturally repel lice.  In fact their Rosemary Repel products were the first line of natural hair products proven to help prevent head lice using organic herbs and natural plant extracts.  The products are chemical free and are also safe for families with allergy sensitivities because they're gluten, dairy and nut-free.  I also appreciate that the products are safe for moms like me who color their hair.

We received the Rosemary Repel Shampoo, Rosemary Repel Creme Conditioner and Rosemary Repel Conditioning Spray for my family to use.  It's interesting that the scent of the products helps repel lice because I personally think it smells quite nice.  My children's hair feels soft after using the shampoo & conditioner.  I really like the conditioning spray.  It is one product I've found that can help tame my son's wild hair.  The Rosemary Repel line also contains hair spray and styling gel products.

I really appreciated that the products came with information on both lice prevention and lice removal.  Having never dealt with this problem before I now feel a lot more educated about it.

You can buy Fairy Tales Hair Care products from their website and they are also available at Ulta and fine salons nationwide.
