Hallmark Recordable Storybook Review & Disney on Ice Ticket Giveaway (Des Moines)

A couple of years ago for Christmas my kids received a Hallmark recordable storybook of "Frosty the Snowman" from my sister.  It quickly became their favorite holiday books and they would constantly open it up to listen to the story and music.  That was our first exposure to Hallmark recordable storybooks and I have loved them since.  I know that we aren't the only family who love them because Hallmark is always adding new titles to their collection.  The most recent additions to the Disney line of recordable books are “The Wish My Heart Makes for You” and “You’re a Hero! All the Ways You Save the Day.”

We were fortunate to receive "The Wish My Heart Makes for You" storybook.  While my kids were having a fun play date with their grandma I recorded myself while reading the story.  It's very simple to do as long as you have a small screwdriver!  The storybooks come with batteries and simple instructions to follow.  It takes hardly any time to create this special personalized gift.  My daughter loves to read storybooks by herself, so I knew this would be a perfect gift for her to have.  I'm fortunate that I rarely have to be away from my kids, but this book will still be nice to have on hand those nights when Mommy's not home at bedtime to read stories.

My daughter loves princesses as most little girls do, so the Cinderella book was an instant hit with her.  Personally I loved the message in the story encouraging your child to dream big dreams and telling them that you believe in them.

To bring the enchantment of Disney recordable storybooks to life Hallmark is sponsoring the Disney on Ice tour across the US including the stop in Des Moines, Disney on Ice Celebrates "100 Years of Magic".

The Giveaway:  Thanks to Hallmark one lucky reader will receive a four pack of tickets to attend Disney on Ice "100 Years of Magic" at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.  Tickets are for the Saturday, November 24th performance at 5pm.  To enter use the rafflecopter form below.  Good luck!!

Disclosure:  I received a Hallmark recordable storybook and tickets to Disney on Ice for the purpose of an honest review and giveaway.  All opinions are 100% mine.
