I have to confess that I hate to lose things. I'm the type of person that will spend an hour in the playroom looking for the one piece of whatever that went missing and will dwell too long on the things that will never appear again. (I'm still upset that I lost a favorite barette for my daughter.) I realize that by having kids I should just accept that things will get lost, but I haven't quite gotten there yet. That's why I love a company that helps us parents do what we can to label items so that if something gets lost it can easily be returned to the proper place.
Mabel's Labels was founded by a group of moms who understood the frustration of missing "stuff". That frustration led to the creation of sticky labels that are perfect for everything your children haul out of the house. This school year I used labels from The Ultimate Back-to-School combo pack for my son's stuff. This combo pack includes 40 Skinny-Minis that are dishwasher and microwave safe, 50 tag mates that are washer and dryer safe, 16 shoe labels that are water resistent plus two teeny tags that are perfect for backpacks or pencil cases. That's a lot of labels! It will be a while before we go through all of them, but I'm thrilled to have them. We've used them on multiple items since the start of the school year.
We've labeled personal books that are now at school.
The Skinny-Mini label worked awesome on the set of headphones we had to send to school.
Lunchboxes are a labeling must!
Even though we're not leaving PE shoes at school this year the labels work great on all shoes.
Pretty soon I'll need to start using the Tag Mates on winter jackets and it will be really nice to not have to mess around with a permanent marker. My son really likes the spider designs on his labels and they are truly perfect for this season. There are tons of designs available though, so you should definitely check them all out. You are sure to find one your kids will love.
If you like the type of labels included in the Ultimate Back-to-School Combo pack you can still order it until September 28th. (Hurry - that's this Friday!) To learn more visit Mabel's Labels. You can also visit their page on Facebook and follow on Twitter.
