Sucrets~ It's All in the Tin Review & Giveaway

More than likely at some point in your life you have tried Sucrets to soothe a sore throat.  The lozenges have been around for over 75 years providing relief to multiple generations.  Sucrets has recently updated their product packaging and can now be found again in the classic tin.  Sucrets are available in several varieties including Classic Wild Cherry, Complete Vapor Cherry, Complete Cool Citrus, Herbal Berry Pomegranate and Herbal Honey Lemon.

I was hopeful that I wouldn't have a need for Sucrets for a while, but having a school age child in the house sharing his germs with me means I can't be that lucky.  I've already had more than one cold this season.  My first cold started with a scratchy throat, so I reached for the Classic Wild Cherry lozenges.  The Sucrets did provide immediate relief to the throat uncomfort.
When another cold developed into a snuffy nose along with a sore throat I tried the Sucrets Complete Vapor Lozenges.  These lozenges seemed much stronger and the menthol definitely helped clear my nasal passage.  Personally I prefered the flavor of the classic cherry to the complete vapor cherry, but I think the Vapor  Cherry just took some time getting used to.  I had grown up with the classic cherry flavor so of course that's what I like best.  Both products worked quickly though and provided relief when I needed it.  I'm glad I still have some on hand for when the nasty germs strike once again.
Both products I tried are available in the new tin packaging which I happen to think is kind of cute.  You can learn more about the nostalgia and previous uses for the tin packaging on the Sucrets website.

Head over to Sucrets to learn more about all of their product lines and to find a retailer near you.  You can also visit Sucrets on Facebook.

The Giveaway:  Thanks to Sucrets one winner will receive a total of 4 tins of Sucrets products.  They will get to try 2 tins of the Classic Wild Cherry and 2 tins of the Complete Vapor Cherry Lozenges.
